Our firm has the tools to deliver with precision and professionalism to ensure everything is done right the first time. We understand the importance of cultivating lasting relationships with shippers and carriers and are dedicated to doing just that. It is our job to help shippers find reliable, cost-effective carriers to move their freight and to help carriers feel fulfilled at the end of their workday.
CodeBlu Brokers was conceptualized during the pandemic. During a time when unemployment was extremely high, and people were searching for sustainable, permanent, and rewarding careers. More importantly, they were seeking companies that could stand strong even when the economy was at its worst-specifically during the pandemic. The alarmingly high unemployment rate had individuals striving for better options to ensure their livelihood was without financial ruins. CodeBlu Brokers rose to the challenge and decided that the trucking industry was the answer. The trucking industry is a billion-dollar industry designed to keep moving and maintain productivity regardless of the state of the economy. At CodeBlu Brokers, we provide opportunities to help sustain families despite the downward turn in the economy. We are passionate about helping companies and individuals. We believe as long as stores are open and operating, the demand for products thrives and supply available; trucking will forever be a necessity.
At CodeBlu Brokers, our lead broker is also an experienced attorney. This aids her in negotiating rates, preparing paperwork, and much more. She offers her services as an attorney in addition to freight work and is licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. As an attorney, she can help you structure and form your business, navigate the FMCSA regulations, and in applying for your carrier and broker authority. She also offers business coaching to help your business start off to success from day one. She will help you secure capital and successfully run your day-to-day operation.
About Stephanie
Founder and Owner, Stephanie Daniels Smoke has dedicated her time and efforts to helping others. Over the span of her fifteen-year legal career, she has spent time representing those who have been injured, less fortunate, or did not realize they had a voice to effectuate change. Advocating for and helping others is the cornerstone of her upbringing. Born in Manhattan, New York and reared in Millbrook, Alabama, Stephanie is no stranger to using her voice to lift others. She made history when she was elected and served as the first female ever to sit on the county commission in her hometown. She was also the first african american female to serve as Assistant District Attorney in the 4th judicial circuit of Alabama.
Stephanie worked full-time while attending and completing her undergraduate and post graduate studies. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Mass Communication. After which, she attended Birmingham School of law and received a Juris Doctor. Most recently, she attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law and obtained a Master of Laws with Distinction. Stephanie is also a graduate of Freight Movers School and a member of the Transportation Intermediaries Association.
